Wow!! I can't believe it's been so long since my last post!! Where does the time go?

Well...Let's see...
We were in Disney from October 24th - November 1st. Dan and his dad drove down with all of the luggage...not to mention 3 large bags of baby stuff and a swivel-rocker that was being passed on to Heather for their little one. I got quite a bit of teasing about it, but hey...How else was I supposed to get it to Florida? The rest of us...13 of us...flew down. Thanks goodness we didn't have any flight trouble. That would have been a nightmare!

I won't go into the day-to-day details...But we all had a great time. Dani LOVED everything she saw. Her favorite ride was Nemo at Epcot and she would repeatedly ask to "ride Nemo". She got to meet Mickey and Minnie but once she got up close, she decided she didn't like them so much. We got some lovely pictures of her clutching me for dear life. However, we had lunch in Cinderella's castle one afternoon and met all of the princesses. She just looked at them in awe and smiled so big...It was too cute!

We got a backstage tour of the Jungle Safari and got to see a lot of the animals up close...especially the giraffes...my favorite.

Billy and Sydney enjoyed all of the big rides. There was lots of eating and shopping. It was very hot...for us Yankees :o)...Upper 90s every day with upper 90s humidity!!! It made for long days but thankfully our hotel had a pool. So, we all enjoyed cooling off in the evenings and watching the fireworks over the castle...Just like something you'd see in a travel brochure. Dan got some really neat pictures from our balcony.

On Friday, Heather, Damon, and Rylee came for the day. It was SO MUCH FUN!!!...Watching the little one's faces light up. We went back to the hotel to swim, play on the beach, and watch the fireworks. The day went by quickly, though...I miss them already!

Halloween night we had passes to trick-or-treat around the Magic Kingdom and ride all of the rides. Dani was very crabby from the busy day already. She fell asleep and we had to wake her up to get her costume on. She was NOT happy about it! Sydney and Billy, of course, couldn't wait, though. Everything was lit up with black lights and there was a huge parade. It was so busy, though...and with Dani being cranky, Dan and I took her back to the room early while Syd and Billy trick-or-treated until almost midnight.

We flew home the next day, which was Sunday. I think we had ALL had enough of Disney for one trip! Then Monday, it was back to school. The 1-hour time difference in Orlando and then Daylight Savings Time had us all messed up! Dani is still adjusting. So all of last week we just tried to get back into the swing of things.
