Last February, we went to a fundraiser for the High School's athletic department. One of the auction items was 3 hours with the Weiner Mobile. Seeing as how the Oscar Mayer plant is here in Madison...This is a big deal up here. So, we won the auction and last weekend was the big day. Unfortunatley, we had gotten a lot of snow the week before...but we made the best of it. We invited a bunch of friends with their kids and decided to make it our "Holiday Party". The Weinermobile would be here from 2-5pm and for 3 hours would just give rides around the block...4 people at a time and everyone got Weiner-Whistles.

We had hot chocolate and coffee...I spent 2 full days baking cookies...and we had hot dogs with all the toppings, of course. Oh, and we had chili. Everyone had the best time! The house was PACKED! Let me just say this...I bought and made 120 hot dogs, and by the end of the day, there were 8 left!!!

With just under a week before Christmas...I thought I'd take a few minutes to catch up on the ole' blog. November was NUTS!!! I took on WAY too many projects!...School stuff, social stuff, etc....But we made it through.

Then came December...
Billy celebrated his 7th birthday! Can you believe it? We hired a "reptile guy" to come in with an assortment of critters. He does little educational shows all over the place...at schools, parties, libraries, whatever. This is right up Billy's alley and so...that's what we did. He invited a few of his buddies from school and we had Dan's family over. The kids were all right in the middle of the action...even Dani! It was awesome!
