We've been to several horse shows this summer...and still have a few more to go. Here are some random pictures from these shows and a few taken at the barn.

It always amazes me what kids see. Not sure if Billy or Sydney took this one, but I thought it was funny.
It was a long day in the barn. We were glad to be finished for the night.
This is our little donkey, Pablo. He is very sweet and follows Dani around wherever she goes.

This year for the 4th, we spent 3 days at a campground in the RV and then went to the Howard's cabin up north. Tommy (Stephanie's son) and Sydney's friend, Rachel came with us. It was a little crowded at times, but most of the week was spent outside, so it wasn't too bad.
Several families that we know rent cabins too. So there was a big crowd.
The weather that week was absolutely GORGEOUS. We spent almost every day on the lake. One day we went tubing down the Namekagon River. It was amazing! We saw a beaver and a bald eagle.
We did some shopping, some fishing, a lot of eating, and Dennis even had karaoke in the bar one night for all of the kids.

Even Millie couldn't get enough of the water!

Way back in early June.....
Heather, Rylee and Brody flew up for a visit. As always...we had a great time.
We took the kids to a little cafe that specializes in kid-friendly, healthy food. The girls dressed up in princess dresses and they had tea in tiny cups. Quite honestly, the food doesn't taste that great, but the way they prepare it onto the plate is SO CUTE. I can't remember what Rylee ordered....but Dani had a sandwich that looked like 2 snails on her plate. For dessert they had lollipop-cupcakes with sprinkles. When they were finished with their "tea" (it was really apple juice spritzer) they could play. There's a whole wall made of chalkboard and a play kitchen and market-place with a little table.
They had a blast!
In this picture, the girls are showing off their flowers in their hair.
We baked cookies one afternoon while Heather and Brody took a nap. I, now, need to replenish my sprinkles! :o)
Rylee LOVED holding our Guinea pig, Carrots.
