Little Billy isn't so little any more. His 8th birthday was last Wednesday. The night before...We took a few of his buddies from school to play Lazer Tag. They were VERY loud...but had a lot of fun. Then, on Wednesday night, we had the family over for dinner. Billy requested beer-can chicken, mashed sweet potatoes, caesar salad, and Texas toast. His cake was actually made up of 24 chocolate cupcakes decorated like an alligator.
I have been SOOOO busy!! I don't even know where to start!
Our halloween party was a lot of fun. We had a great turn out and some HISTERICAL costumes. I'm ashamed to say that I never got pictures of the kids in their costumes....but here's one of Dan and me. I wish it was full length cuz Dan has on white knee-socks!!
November FLEW by!!! Dan's birthday was on the 20th. We had a relaxing day and Dan made lobster tail, steak, and crab legs for dinner.
Dan's brother, Doug, and Stephanie (with the twins) hosted Thanksgiving this year. We had a great time.
Billy's school puts on a Winter Tea every year. The kids can submit their own artwork for the logo contest. Billy's won 2nd place!
I help coordinate the event. We transform the cafeteria into a "winter wonderland". A local tree farm donates trees which we cover with lights and silver snowflakes. The high school orchestra students play holiday music. Parents send in holiday cookies. The kids and parents file in, class by class, and enjoy cocoa and cookies with their families. It's really a big deal!

The actual "tea party" was yesterday. We had record numbers. It was fun...but I'm glad it's over!
I've also been busy sewing and making baby stuff. I'll be putting a lot if it in a local gift shop for the holidays and up at Garmisch (Dan's parents' resort). Dani is my little model...she loves it!
Dan bowls on Wednesday nights. He somehow hurt his knee last night. He went to the doctor today and it looks like he's torn the MCL and probably the ACL....which means surgery!! We won't know for sure until they do an MRI which won't be for another week!!!

Sydney dyed her hair PURPLE!! Well...I let her. I don't have a picture of it...but you'll see it in the Christmas card picture :o)
