The Howard's Three-Ring-Circus

We've added yet, another member to the family....a little Guinea Pig named Carrots. I have to tell you how she got her name. The pet store also has ferrets. Dani kept asking (okay, demanding) to hold a ferret. We finally got one out of a cage so she could hold it. She said, "No, that one!"....But she was pointing at the guinea pigs. We pick one out for her to hold and she just smiled and kept saying, "Awww...Carrots." It was too cute...We couldn't resist. So, on the way home, in the car, as Dani proudly held her new friend...We finally realized what she was saying. She didn't understand the difference between a guinea pig and ferret. She thinks that "Carrots" is a ferret. So...that's it's name.

Even now...a couple of weeks later. She'll say, "NOT a guinea pig...it's Carrots!"...and she means it!!
